CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — For the first time in her career, junior Catie Conrad (Brighton, Mich. - Brighton) of the Eastern Michigan University women's gymnastics team was named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday, Feb. 14.
Conrad had a very strong meet this past week against Kent State, Feb. 10, helping EMU defeat the Golden Flashes by a final score of 195.750 – 195.550. Conrad competed all-around for the first time this season, tying for first with a score of 39.
