Collins Posts Another Top-25 Showing at Boilermaker Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team closed out the Boilermaker Invitational Sunday, April 11, by finishing 11th in a star-studded field at Purdue's Kampen Golf Course. Eastern shot a 10-over 298 in the final round to finish the tournament with a 886 (294-294-298). No. 47 Kent State won the team title at 12-under-par 852, edging No. 6 Illinois (854) by two strokes.

Senior Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary) led EMU, as he notched his 15th career top-25 finish, tying for 23rd place at 219 (72-74-74).
