BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior Ty Celone (Long Sault, Ontario, Canada-St Joseph's Catholic) notched an opening day 148 (75-73) and sits just six shots off the pace at the Hoosier Collegiate Intercollegiate, April 3. Celone was able to move up four spots in the second round with a pair of birdies on the back nine to finish the day in a tie for fifth of the par 71, 7,432-yard Pfau Course at Indiana University.
As a team, the Eagles carded a day one score of 609 (309-300) to sit in eighth-place in the predominately Big 10 Conference-heavy event.
