EUGENE, Ore. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University redshirt senior Alsu Bogdanova (Kazan, Russia-Lyceum #83) capped off the Eagles' season today, June 9, in Eugene, Ore. at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Bogdanova took part in the 3000m steeplechase championship, where she raced to a finishing time of 9:59.29 to place 10th. Based on her finish, the Kazan, Russia native earned Second Team All-American honors.
Although her career came to a close, Bogdanova solidified herself as an EMU great, earning All-American honors and being named a Mid-American Conference Champion in both indoor and outdoor track, as well as cross country.
