CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University swimming and diving senior Bethany Berger (Batavia, Ohio-Glen Este) has been named the Mid-American Conference Diver of the Week for the second consecutive week, the league office announced today, Feb. 10.
The award marks the second for Berger in her career, winning for the first time, Feb. 3, after taking first place in both diving events at Bowling Green, Jan. 29.
Against Oakland, Feb. 5, Berger swept the diving events for the second time in as many weeks.The Batavia, Ohio native scored 288.75 to win the 1-meter event, and posted a season-best score of 302.
