KANSAS CITY, Mo. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University baseball student-athlete Mike Monahan (Saline, Mich.-Saline) was named as an Academic All-District selection, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced today, July 1.
The senior earned the honor for the first time in his career, and became the first player recognized for the award for the EMU baseball program since Zachary Owings in 2019.
Bursting on to the scene as the baseball team's designated hitter in 2021, Monahan set career-highs in virtually every category over his 26 games.
