NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University baseball team is ready for a three-game, non-conference series against the Niagara University Purple Eagles. The series begins this Friday, April 28, with the first pitch slated for 3 p.m. Saturday's game will take place at 2 p.m. and Sunday's at 1 p.m. The Eagles are coming off a 15-12 win over the Alma College Scots at Comerica Park, April 25. The win marked the second consecutive for the Green and White as they now hold a 2-1 record when playing at Comerica Park. The Purple Eagles enter the series holding an 18-14 overall record and are coming off a 2-1 series loss to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference leaders, the Fairfield University Stags.
