YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University baseball struggled to score, leaving 11 on base in a 10-4 loss at the hands of the University of Toledo Rockets Friday, April 21.
Senior Thomas House (Ross, Ohio-Ross) (1-3) started and took the loss on the mound for Eastern Michigan (16-20, 6-13 MAC ). Senior Nick Chittum (Grosse Ile, Mich.-Grosse Ile) was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going six innings, surrendering one run on four hits, walking one and striking out six.
In the batter's box, the Eagles were paced by sophomore Josh Kross (Brunswick, Ohio-Brunswick-Toledo), who went 2-for-5 on the day with a double and two RBIs.
