YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team fended off a late comeback to hold on for a 4-3 win over Michigan State University Tuesday evening, April 4, at Oestrike Stadium. With the win, EMU (10-18) has won seven of its last 10 games.
The difference in the ball game was a solo home run from redshirt senior Mike Mioduszewski (Dexter, Mich.-Dexter) in the sixth inning. It was his first home run on the season, and the 13th of his EMU career. Elsewhere, EMU only notched three other hits, but it was enough for the pitching staff to work with to get the win.
