Baseball Falls Short Against the Golden Grizzlies, 7-4

YSPILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team came up on the wrong end of a 7-4 decision to the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies Wednesday night, March 30 at Oestrike Stadium.

The Eagles (9-14, 3-0 MAC) tied OU in hits with seven, marking the fifth time this year they have lost when tying or out-hitting an opponent. Leading the charge was senior Mitchell McGeein (Calgary, Alberta-Vauxhall) who went 3-for-4 with a career-high four RBI's.

The Golden Grizzlies (12-11, 4-2 Horizon) struck first in the first with a three-run homer after a hit batter and single.
