Baseball Drops Game Two of Series Versus Lipscomb

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University baseball team dropped game two of the weekend series 12-8 against the Lipscomb University Bisons, Saturday afternoon March 19 at Ken Dugan Field.

The Eagles (6-12) put together another solid offensive performance, following up their 17-run 18-hit game last night, with 11 hits on the day, eclipsing Lipscomb's total by one. Leading the way was senior Mitchell McGeein (Calgary, Alberta-Vauxhall), who went 2-for-4 with his second home run of the season, a two-run shot. Freshman Max Schuemann (Portage, Mich.-Portage Northern) had a multi-hit and multi-RBI game with two each, while fellow freshman John Rensel Jr.
