Baseball Blitzed Early in Loss at Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Although the sun was shining, it was not a joyful day on the diamond for the Eastern Michigan University baseball team as it dropped the second game of its three-game weekend series at Western Michigan University today, May 4, at Robert J. Bobb Stadium. A lopsided affair, Eastern (11-35-1; 6-14 MAC) found itself down, 6-0, after just one inning of play. Unable to recover, the Eagles eventually fell, 12-2.

With his team down, 5-0, sophomore Holden Cook (Oklahoma City, Okla.-Casady (Murray State)) came out of the bullpen to slow the Bronco momentum.
