The win secured a spot for Eastern Michigan University in the Mid-American Conference tournament held March 8-11 inside the RocketMortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Eagles (15-14, 7-11) had three players score in double figures, led by Austin, who had 25 points, six rebounds and four assists.
