Ash Scores First Career Goal in 3-2 Loss to Ball State

MUNCIE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University soccer team rallied, but ultimately fell to Ball State University, 3-2, in overtime Sept. 29 at Briner Sports Complex.

Redshirt junior Sabrina McNeill (Whitby, Ontario-Henry Street) surpassed the 40-career points mark, becoming the seventh player in Eastern Michigan soccer history to reach the milestone.

The Eagles got things started early, scoring the quickest goal so far in 2019 just six minutes in. Redshirt junior Nicole Remedios (Ajax, Ontario-Archbishop Dennis O'Connor) launched a free kick to sophomore Sarah Ash (South Lyon, Mich.
