YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Jay Santos, the Head Coach of the Eastern Michigan University women's gymnastics team, announced today, April 20, that Allie Smith (Telford, Pa. - Souderton Area) will join the squad next season as a walk-on.
"We are very excited about Allie joining our team in the fall," explained Santos. "She has a tremendous work ethic, and we feel that she has a lot of passion for the sport of gymnastics. Walking in the door, she will help add depth to our power events, where she excels on vault and floor.
