CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan University men's basketball player sophomore Tyson Acuff (Detroit, Mich.-Cass Tech-Duquesne) has been selected as the Mid-American Conference Co-Player of the Week, the league announced, Feb. 13. Acuff shares the honor with Jaylin Hunter of Ohio University following games played Feb. 7-12.
Acuff put together a career week in a pair of games at the University at Buffalo, Feb. 7, and at home against the University of Toledo, Feb. 9. The Detroit, Mich., native combined to average 35.5 points per game, 20 points better than EMU's next best scorer for the week, and the single-best scoring average in a set of games for his career.
