The East Carolina University volleyball team is traveling the country to take on Wichita State University and the University of Tulsa this weekend.
The first game against Wichita State (8-8, 3-2 AAC) will be held on Friday at 8 p.m. in Wichita, Kansas. The Pirates (12-4, 4-1 AAC) have only faced the Shockers twice all time and lost in both matchups.
“We are working hard as a team to improve our game with each point, but we are definitely trying to bring home two wins,” junior middle blocker Toya Osuegbu said.
As the Pirates compete Friday, Charles Koch Arena can be packed with around 3,000 to 4,000 fans in Wichita State’s stadium.
