East Carolina University’s volleyball head coach Julie Torbett reached a historic feat of 400 wins Tuesday night. As a video presentation from current and former players played, a smile spread across Torbett’s face.
ECU defeated North Carolina Central University in dominant fashion 25-15, 25-15, 25-9 to achieve the 400th career win. Former and current players, whose names were not provided in the video as they spanned from as far back as 20 years, took to the video board to show just how important Torbett has been in their lives, as well as to congratulate her on the milestone.
