The East Carolina University track and field team traveled to Birmingham, Alabama last weekend for the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships. The men’s team placed last out of eight teams and the women’s team took seventh place out of the 12 teams.
The men earned a total of 17 points, putting them in eighth, compared to first place University of Houston with 159.5 points, as they were above second place by 52.5 points. The women earned a total of 43 points compared to first place Houston with 98 points. The results for ECU were not spectacular, but the athletes individually performed well.
