The East Carolina University softball team will host American Athletic Conference foe University of Memphis for a three-game series starting tomorrow.
The Pirates (15-22, 1-5 AAC) are looking to snap their six-game losing streak before extending it any longer. ECU’s most recent loss came against Campbell University on Tuesday, an 8-3 defeat. The first loss of the current losing stretch can be traced back to March 24, when the team faced Houston University, losing 10-7. Even though this is not ECU’s longest losing streak this season, which stands at 12 from Feb. 18 to March 7, it is halfway there.
