Shane Carden enjoying time in German Football League

Not long ago, in the Ruffin Mcneill era to be exact if fans can’t remember, East Carolina football posted its first 10 win season since 1991.

If there was anything to remember about that team, it was the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s all-time leader in catches and freak-of-nature Justin Hardy and quarterback Shane Carden that made up the duo, “Cardy.” The former Pirate Hardy, turned Atlanta Falcon, now plays for a pro team boasting a great duo of receivers and is expecting the second-year player to turn the tandem into a trio.

On the other end of Hardy’s passes was his counterpart, Carden who delivered on over 80 percent of his catches and another Pirate-legend and record holder of his own.
