Pirates seek second AAC win

East Carolina University’s women’s basketball team will look for its second American Athletic Conference win of the season, when it takes on the University of Houston this Saturday in Minges Coliseum at 5 p.m.

ECU (9-9, 1-4 AAC) enters the game coming off its 65-51 road loss Saturday against Southern Methodist University (7-10, 1-3 AAC). There are a multitude of reasons for its struggles in AAC play, but what seems to stick out the most are the Pirates’ poor shooting percentages. ECU is shooting just 31.
