On Saturday, at the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania the East Carolina University men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the Paul Short Run.
While both squads struggled in the meeting, with the men finishing 22nd out of 41 teams and the women notching 34th out of 45 teams, a number of personal records were set by individuals from ECU.
“It was a really exciting day for us,” head coach Josey Weaver said via a press release. “Fifteen out of our 17 runners had personal bests. This was a good test and measuring point for us one month away from our conference championships.
