The East Carolina University women’s soccer team (3-5-1, 0-0-0 AAC) lost to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (3-5-1, 0-0-0 SoCon) on Sunday by a score of 1-0 after the Spartans finished off a corner kick.
After finishing out non-conference play, the Pirates ended this part of their schedule 3-5-1 while UNCG improved to 3-5-1 as well.
"Obviously not the result that we wanted to get," head coach Jason Hamilton said. "I thought we came out and started the game and we had the ball the entire time, but just did not have any quality in front of the goal.
