The ECU baseball team failed to pull off the sweep of the University of Memphis during their final game of the series on Saturday. Regardless, the Pirates still won the series, beating the Tigers in two of three total games.
By closing out a three game series against Wichita State University (26-29, 9-15 AAC) and defeating Campbell University (32-19, 19-7 Big South), ECU (42-13, 20-4 AAC) was on a two game win streak headed into the series with Memphis (27-26, 10-14 AAC).
With a stellar home record of 22-4 before the series began, the Pirates were riding a walk off bunt victory against Campbell on Tuesday night.
