Packard first in ECU baseball history with six All-America nods

East Carolina University outfielder Bryant Packard became the first player in ECU history to be named to six All-America teams in the same season after being named to the Perfect Game, National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and D1Baseball All-America teams on Wednesday.

Packard was also named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-South Region First-Team. Packard was previously named to the All-America teams for Baseball America, CollegeSportsMadness and Collegiate Baseball. Packard was also the American Athletic Conference Player-Of-The-Year, a unanimous First-Team All-AAC selection, apart of the Greenville Regional All-Tournament Team and a semifinalist for the Dick Howser Trophy.
