East Carolina University’s women’s basketball team suffered another heartbreaking loss to the College of William & Mary Tuesday as it fell to 1-3 on the season.
Junior point guard Alex Frazier missed two go-ahead free throws with the game tied at 59 with two seconds remaining in regulation, resulting in ECU falling 71-65 in overtime.
“You give yourself the chance to win, it's what you want to do every single night playing basketball, and we did that,” head coach Heather Macy said. “Basketball is a pretty simple game, it’s going to come down to making free throws a lot of times.
