The East Carolina University men’s basketball team snapped its two game losing streak with a 72-69 victory against the Cleveland State University Vikings on Monday night.
The Pirates entered the game with a tough two-game losing streak against Radford University on Nov.15 and Central Connecticut State University on Nov. 17. After another slow start where the Pirates found themselves in a 10 point hole trailing 25-15, they closed out the half on a 18-7 run to lead 33-32 at the half.
“We have to come out and play like we played Cleveland State in the last seven minutes of the game for both halves,” senior B.
