East Carolina University women’s basketball head coach Heather Macy became the all-time wins leader in program history last night in Minges, as ECU won its first American Athletic Conference game of the season in a thrilling 73-67 victory over the University of Tulsa.
Macy stayed true to her personality and deflected all the credit to her players and coaches for reaching her milestone.
“My total focus is helping this young team be as good as it can be at every single moment,” Macy said. “I do acknowledge the fact that we’ve had incredible players that have been through this program and that we had incredible coaches that have come through and that have worked incredibly hard to make this possible.
