The East Carolina University lacrosse team suffered its second loss of the year on the road against Liberty University, 18-6 on Wednesday.
ECU and Liberty both stand now with the same record so far this season (5-2). The Pirates were on a three game winning streak before losing to Liberty. Both of the losses ECU has had were on the road.
The Pirates were not able to keep up with the fast breakout pace of Liberty as the Flame were able to score off of the opening draw. Liberty did not stop its scoring and made the lead go up to 10-0.
