After five tournaments in the fall, the East Carolina University men’s golf team closed out their fall schedule tied for fifth place at the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook in Palm Beach, Florida.
The Pirates finished the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook with a total score of 864, 12-over-par, tying them with the University of Houston for fifth. Playing three rounds at Innisbrook Resort, their lowest being round three at 286 strokes, 2-over-par.
Individually, ECU had two top 15 finishers. Sophomore golfer A.J. Beechler finished in fourth place with a score of 208, 5-under-par (71, 68, 69). Junior golfer Tim Bunten in a six-way tie for twelfth place, finishing with a total of 214 strokes, one stroke over par (70, 74, 70).
