Former East Carolina University starting quarterback Gardner Minshew will transfer to Washington State University for his final season but said he appreciates his time at ECU.
“I am so thankful to ECU for the opportunity there and the love they gave me. I made some memories there I will always cherish. I did not leave in the right way, and to my teammates and coaches I am sorry. I hope they can support me in the future as I will them,” Minshew said in an emailed statement to The East Carolinian.
Minshew graduated from ECU in December of 2017 with a Communication degree.
