After being winless on the road at 0-9, The East Carolina University men’s basketball team snapped that losing streak and its five game overall losing streak with a wire-to-wire victory against Tulane University on the road Saturday.
ECU (10-16, 3-11 AAC) and Tulane (4-22, 0-14 AAC) matched up on Jan. 31 in Minges Coliseum in Greenville. Both teams battled as ECU walked away with a narrow 66-65 victory to get its second win in American Athletic Conference play. This matchup would result in another back-and-forth battle between both teams.
The Pirates jumped out the gate strong with a 20-9 lead in the first six minutes of the game.
