This upcoming weekend, the East Carolina University volleyball team is traveling to Cookeville, Tennessee to compete in the Golden Eagle Invitational to take on Hampton University, University of South Carolina Upstate and Tennessee Tech University.
“I’m looking forward to team bonding, winning and becoming closer with the team this weekend,” said sophomore right sider Bri Wood.
The Pirates (2-1) will take on Hampton (0-3) to kickoff the weekend, on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Hampton has lost its first three games this season only winning one set of the three games. The Pirates played Hampton last year and defeated them in three sets, sweeping the match 25-13, 25-12, 25-19.
