The East Carolina University men’s and women’s swim team swept its home meet on Saturday against Lenoir-Rhyne University, Catawba College and Campbell University. The men’s team won against Lenoir-Rhyne with a score of 154-104, and it defeated Catawba with a score of 182-75.
The ECU men’s team took first place in 14 events, including five events that involved all top three spots finished by the Pirates.
There was no men’s team competing for Campbell. The ECU women’s team beat Lenoir-Rhyne 186-76, Catawba 165-65, and Campbell 162.5-99.5. In total, ECU had 14 swimmers that placed first in their event.
