ECU softball showed offensive promise in the short 2020 season

Much to the dismay of collegiate sport fans around the country, the 2020 spring sports season was brought to a sudden halt this week due to concerns of the spread of COVID-19. Despite a season cut short, the East Carolina University (14-9, 0-0 AAC) softball team showed a great deal of offensive promise.

In the 2020 season ECU stepped onto the field with more leadership and upperclassmen than head coach Courtney Oliver had on her roster in her five seasons with the program. With 13 upperclassmen on her 23 player team, Oliver had plenty of talent and room to switch up her batting line-up.
