Courtesy of ecupirates.comThe East Carolina University softball team once again fell victim to a dominant pitching performance from the other team as it dropped its season finale series opener on Friday in Orlando, Florida, against the University of Central Florida by a score of 3-1.
After only scoring one run against Wichita State University pitcher Bailey Lange in last Sunday’s 5-1 loss, this time it was UCF pitcher Alea White who dominated. White (23-11) threw a complete game, allowing only one run. White gave up six hits, but only one went for extra bases.
