The East Carolina University women’s lacrosse team traveled to Norfolk, Virginia on Friday as it took on Old Dominion University and came back to Greenville to take on Campbell University on Sunday.
The Pirates (5-5) took on the Camels (3-4) Sunday afternoon losing 11-10 in a triple overtime battle. ECU dropped to 3-2 at home after losing its first game at home to the University of Vermont last week, 9-18. This is the second time the Pirates have faced the Camels. The last time these two teams matched up was Feb. 24, 2018 when the Pirates fell to the Campbell 17-8.
