It did not take long for Charles Foster to make his presence felt on the East Carolina basketball team.
At media day on Sept. 30 — two days before the Pirates’ first official practice — junior Caleb White was asked about the six newcomers who make up almost half of ECU’s roster.
White, one of the most experienced Pirates who has 62 starts in 67 games played at ECU, mentioned how well the freshmen and junior college transfers were blending in on and off the court with the veteran Pirates and the effect he thought the fresh faces would have on ECU’s team.
