The East Carolina University men’s and women’s golf teams started April on a high note as the women’s team finished tied for third at the Charleston Invitational, and the men’s team won its first tournament under head coach Andrew Sapp, finishing first in the ECU Intercollegiate.
The Pirates women’s third place finish was the third top five finish of the season, and the fifth top 10. The match was the last of the regular season for the Pirates, and brings the team's record to a season record of 108-31-1, the 11th time in program history it has finished with over 100 wins.
