“We get back [from BYU] late. We have a regular game the following week but then we go on a five day and a eight day stretch (in between games). So as a staff we’ve had to plan on that. Not looking ahead or anything, but making sure we’re smart as coaches and give our guys the proper rest.”
The Pirates (3-2, 1-1 AAC) will take their two-game winning streak back on the road this weekend, when they fly out to Provo, Utah, to take on BYU. The lack of balance in home and road games, two to four respectively, has made things difficult for the team to get into a working rhythm.
