In an extremely important game for East Carolina University (3-5, 0-4 AAC), the Pirates, in their homecoming game, were defeated by the University of South Florida (4-4, 2-2 AAC) by a score of 45-20.
The Bulls dominated on the ground and amassed a total of 347 yards among four different rushers. Senior running back Jordan Cronkrite lead the Bulls with 12 carries for 129 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 10.8 yards a carry. Freshman Jah’Quez Evans added six carries for 99 yards and a touchdown while averaging 16.5 yards a carry as a quarterback in USF’s wildcat set.
