ECU falls to JMU in high scoring game

In the highest scoring game they have played this season, East Carolina University men’s basketball team (2-6, 0-0 AAC) fell to James Madison University (5-3, 0-0 CAA) by 10 points with a final score of 99-89.

ECU continued to increase in free throw accuracy, making 16-of-18 attempts (88.9%). They picked up their field goal percentage between the first and second half, making 40.63% (13-of-32) in the first half and 50% in the second half (17-of-34).

The Pirates defense was lacking against JMU’s offense. James Madison junior forward Dwight Wilson and junior guard Matt Lewis both scored double-doubles during the game.
