2016 versatile guard Elijah Hughes, who committed to ECU this past summer, has transferred to South Kent High to finish his high school career.
After committing to the Pirates in early June Elijah Hughes has now decided to leave Kennedy Catholic High School (NY) to spend his final season at South Kent High School (CT). The 6-foot-6, 210-pound versatile guard said that the decision to transfer prior to his senior year was a personal choice that was carefully thought out. “It was nothing personal against Kennedy Catholic,” Hughes explained. “It’s a great school but I had to make a decision for myself.
