DURHAM, N.C.—Duke men's soccer rookie Nick Pariano was the hero in overtime as Zaha 5 took home the Dr. K Cup Championship. Zaha 5 captured the regular season crown and posted single-goal victories in the semifinals and finals to take home the cup.
On the Zaha 5 squad are Michael Reis in goal and Pariano, Thor Úlfarsson, Cameron Kerr and Kees Heetderks. Stephen O'Connell is the general manager.
Anchored by Reis in goal, Zaha 5 sacrificed just six goals in the three small-sided games Friday morning.
