After Duke’s brilliant comeback vs. Maryland in the 2001 Final Four, the Blue Devils still had to defeat Lute Olson’s Arizona team to win.
Shane Battier put on a brilliant performance, one for the ages. Look for his fingernail block (think about it for a second)and (we can’t remember if it was the same play) a block where he caught the ball falling out of bounds and passed it back to a teammate.
Also worth noting: watch for the point where Jason Williamson falls over Jason Gardner but puts his hands on the floor without contacting Garder.
