Duke has so many great plays in history, and so many great players, that sometimes things get overlooked or lose resonance.
Take Gerald Henderson for instance.
As good an athlete as Duke has seen, Henderson hasn’t left as big a trail as some others. That’s a bit complicated by the fact that Duke won the national championship the year after he departed for the NBA and that’s what’s most remembered about that core.
But Henderson was a ton of fun to watch and he was never more fun than when he threw this dunk down at Maryland.
