This is a clip from 1988, one of the first times that a Mike Krzyzewski team beat a Dean Smith team three times. There were T shirts about Duke’s Triple Crown. It was a big deal because Duke had not yet caught up to, much less surpassed, UNC’s powerful program.
That would come soon enough.
