JJ Redick was the star of that team but Daniel Ewing and Sean Dockery also started in the backcourt against Maryland. Against Virginia Tech, Dockery came off the bench as DeMarcus Nelson started, indicating some dissatisfaction.
That picked up against Wake Forest as Duke’s starters were Nelson and Ewing with Dockery again coming off the bench.
The three combined to shoot 6-20 for 20 points.
