Some of the people who turn up in Cameron become legends. There’s Crazy Towel Guy. The Viking Guy. The Candyman. Then there’s Speedo Guy, who has his own legend.
The legend was born in 2003, when UNC came to town and Jackie Manuel was on the foul line.
Speedo Guy stood up and revealed himself in all his glory. As you’ll see in this video, even Manuel had a hard time not laughing - and missed both free throws.
As it happened though, Coach K spoke up and said it wasn’t appropriate to run around in your underwear.
